H is for Healing Dreams

Healing Dreams are not necessarily a time when a person is healed from a mental or physical ailment. It could be. Hey, there’s a lot about our universe that we just don’t know about.

But generally speaking a healing dream will alert you to avoid doing certain things that can get you sick or to do something to get better. Some say these dreams are prophetic in nature because they originate from a higher source that what we could understand at the time we dream them.

Me, I believe God still does this today. Dreams are not just for old guys with beards running through the desert eating locusts.

Heights See my previous post F is for Falling.

Haunted House See my previous post A is for Abandoned House

Honorable Mention Having to Pee (yes this is a real dream many people have), Heaven, and Hell

Tomorrow I is for Interpretations of Dreams

Question Do you think it’s possible to receive a dream such a healing dream that can only come from a higher source?

  1. I've had answers delivered in dreams. Certainly has to be Divine Mind helping us out a little.

  2. Lots of mental cobwebs are cleared when you dream. I do think a higher power heals you in your dreams.

  3. I believe the human mind taps into things beyond out reality on occasion, what that might be is another question. One it would take far too long to talk about in a comment :)

  4. Don't think I have a had a healing dream. But the 'having to pee dream' is a universal nightmare.

    Looking forward to tomorrow's.

  5. Don't think I have had a healing dream either, but I agree, having to pee is universal. However, I have discovered it usually means you have to go and when you get up to do so the dream will obviously end.

  7. Sleep is enough of a healer for me. My dreams tend to be nagging in nature.

  10. I do believe it is possible to have such a dream and that it could come from God indeed. I haven't experienced any yet, but who knows down the road.

  12. Just because it hasn't happened to me doesn't mean it can't happen. A healing dream might come in handy around now!

  14. Apparently my great grandfather's father had in his dream a goddess come and ask him to build a temple in the land that he had leased out to farm. They found two idols of goddess when they were ploughing the land. He built a small temple over there. Four generations later his great grandchildren ( who are old men now with grand children of their own) still visit the place and have built a grander temple. The place was not even where he lived. He lived 30 miles away from that place. So much to the power of dreams !!!

  15. I do think we mentally heal in dreams, somehow solve or reconcile issues. Or dream of endless enchiladas.......

  16. I am sadly solidly grounded in the here and now. No prophecies or messages, except occasionally dreams that are my psyche working out things that are stressing me out (I do periodically get anxiety dreams--the "haven't been to class and the final is today" one that is so common and a waitressing equivalent of that) Most of my dreams though, are solidly nonsense.

  17. I think I have healing dreams for other people, friends or loved ones who don't believe they'll get well. They usually do;-)

  18. I dream nightly, at length, in vivid colors. I don't think of my dreams as healing per se, but I do pay attention to them, just as I pay attention to a gut feeling about something. I believe the human brain works in mysterious ways we are nowhere close to understanding. I believe the subconscious mind gets a lot of important work done while we're sleeping. I believe it's possible dreams are its way of trying to tell us something. So I pay attention.

  20. I have never had a healing dream but I have heard of others through Tv etc... That have and are now cured or better. I think the power of the mind may be in play here.

  21. Have you read William Blake's poem: "The Marriage of Heaven & Hell"? I am needing to read it more fully but I his "doors of perception" inspired Jim Morrison. xx Rowena
