Z is for Zombies

Zombies: they are the in thing. They are everywhere. Books. TV shows. Movies. T-shirts. Halloween costumes.

Basically, there are two kinds of zombies. The first are zombies that rise from the dead. These are the undead zombies. The second are zombies that are the result of a virus and spreads, such as the book and movie World War Z.

Well, that’s it. I’m spent. Thanks to everyone for participating in 2015 Blogging A to Z Challenge. You are truly champs! I know people are busy. They get sick. Their PCs break down. But through it all you came through and made it to Z. Congratulations and I hope you'll continue to stop by my blog and say hello!

  1. It was fun helping this year, Stephen! Great challenge; can't believe it is over; the month sped by so fast :) Looking forward to next year's challenge; even have a theme I think :)

I think a lot of us are zombies after the challenge :)

  2. My little brother loves zombies. He's even written some indie movie scripts, filmed by some friends of his with their own little production operation, about zombies.

    Thanks for co-hosting!

  3. Zombies, and where would we be without zombies? :) The problem I have with zombie movies is they all seem to be so down because they are usually set where the world is falling. I likes Shawn of the Dead because the outbreak was contained :) It's been great reading all of your posts this month.

  10. I loved World War Z. I wasn't expecting such a suspenseful movie. I figured it would be cheesy, dull and boring. So wrong:)

  12. For some reason I did not realize that there are two kinds of zombies till you pointed it out, even though I've seen both kinds in movies!

Congrats on crossing the A to Z finish line!

  27. I never considered myself to be into zombies but I am completely hooked on the Walking Dead! I find myself trying to explain why the show is #1 in the ratings for Adults 18-49 --- and it's pretty close to being #1 in my book and I'm out of the prime demo by a few years! I've enjoyed all of your posts and although I missed a few, I'll be coming back to catch up. Thanks for stopping by my blog: I appreciate the time you took to check it out and to comment. This was a fun adventure. Now I'm ready for some zzzz's...

  29. I am most definitely NOT into zombies. Your blogs were interesting Stephen and I always enjoy your science info too.

  30. Oh Zombies, come on, a class clown should be able to do better than that. Zombies might be a metaphor for something, I hadn't thought of that. I figured the writer just didn't want to flesh out the antagonist so we are left with zombies. No distinct personality, no distinct features, except their heads are often loose at the neck, and no character. The product of laziness, of well, later.

  31. I guess we're all kind of zombied out at this point. I don't understand the fascination with the creatures, though.

    ReplyDelete
  32. haha. Funny cartoon. Except for the zombie movie with Billy Connelly, I don't care for zombie moviess. I don't get zombies at all, either type. Are they supposed to strike fear in us? Such as in don't become a sheep because look what it gets you. Hmmm, now I'm thinking too much. It was great meeting you, Stephen. See you around.

  37. I haven't really been able to get into the whole zombie craze. We watched the first season of Helix and I admit we found it to be intriguing, so I can't wait until season two is available on Netflix. I tried watching The Walking Dead, but I had problems with it. Perhaps, I'll give it another try. It looks like we made across the A2Z finish line. Thanks for co-hosting the madness and visits!
