K is for Key Cards

Key Cards: Cards that are used in a card-guessing experiment. Participants of this experiment try to guess of five symbols from a deck of cards that are shuffled and presented randomly.

If you saw the movie Ghostbusters, at the beginning Bill Murray is conducting just such an experiment with hilarious consequences.

I saw the film Ghostbusters but I don't remember the key card. It was probably staring me straight in my face.

  10. Interesting not: Dan Akroyd lived in a Haunted House and got much of the inspiration for Ghost Busters from the activity in his home.

  23. My best friend and I went through a stage in high school where we were convinced we were psychic and played around with cards like this. Unsurprisingly, we didn't end up being psychic...

  24. I just watched this movie, and of course this scene, a few weeks ago for the first time in ages! Such a great movie. I heard they're doing a remake? Don't know if I'll see it... Lisa, co-host AtoZ 2015, @ http://www.lisabuiecollard.com

  35. I had read your Karma post after I had submitted mine and thought yours was awesome actually. Lucid dreams...hmmm, I had not chosen my L for today but I like that one too. I have had lucid dreams for years and when they are great dreams, if I wake up, I keep my eyes closed and get back into the dream:) Scary dreams are tricky but I can usually force myself to wake up...I don`'t like those though. Ilook forward to checking out your book. I am from Tracesofthesoul but also have a blog just on haiku at http://cheryllynnroberts.wordpress.com
