What to Watch: Did you catch the reboot of the classic the Carl Sagan 'Cosmos' hosted by astrophysicist Neil de Grasse Tyson on Fox last Sunday? Well, 8.5 million viewers over 10 channels did. Fox is projecting that more than 40 million viewers worldwide will have seen the debut of the new series by week's end.
The reboot is put together by Carl Sagan's wife Ann druyan and Seth McFarlane of Family Guy fame. "Television is the ideal place for a relaunch of the Sagan 'Cosmos' series," Fordham University professor Paul Levinson, author of the 'New New Media' says. "Because it's the biggest screen in the home and is easily seen by the family or friends at the same time.

Escalation: The Adventures of Chase Manhattan: Together, Breakthrough, Opening, and Escalation follow the lives of the unlikely participants from innocence to a coming of age through sacrifice, betrayal, passion, lust, unconditional love, and hope.
Escalation is an international thriller and will appeal to fans of modern-day science fiction, action, horror, and a bit of romance for the ladies.

I heard they were bringing Cosmos back, but didn't realize that meant...immediately! Wow. Will have to tune in next time. I remember watching it with my dad when I was elementary school age in the 70s. Didn't understand a thing, but was fascinated by it.
