Escalation: The Adventures of Chase Manhattan - Today is the day! Escalation, the final installment to the Breakthrough trilogy is released and available for download.

 

Together, Breakthrough, Opening, and Escalation follow the lives of the unlikely participants from innocence to a coming of age through sacrifice, betrayal, passion, lust, unconditional love, and hope. Escalation is an international thriller and will appeal to fans of modern-day science fiction, action, horror, and a bit of romance for the ladies.

2014 Second Annual National Wormhole Week (or 2014 Wormfest): For 2014, the theme is to name one thing where science advances mankind, and one where the same technology with unforeseen consequences will go too far and set mankind back.

 

Of course, my topic will be Einstein-Rosen Bridges, or wormholes. Just think of the endless possibilities of transporting people safely through a wormhole from point A to point B (no time travel though). No more sitting on a congested freeway. No delayed flights or triple intrusive body searches from TSA.

 

The Downside:
 

* Illegal drugs could be transported across countries.

* Large sums of money and gold could be stolen from a bank vault. In and out without a trace.

* A nuclear device could appear in the Oval Office and blow everyone up.

*A nuclear device could be delivered to the ten largest cities in the US and detonated on the same day.

 

Let’s hope, should a breakthrough in wormholes ever happen, it will be destroyed and forgotten the same day.

 

Escalation Blog Tour: The theme for this event is Bringing Awareness of Science and Science Fiction to our Youth. But we can’t do it on an empty stomach. So we’ll have one epic potluck for the ages and gain some much needed energy for the trip.

 

First stop is Captain Ninja Alex Cavanaugh’s Blog. This will be a potluck event with a theme. Everyone brings a dish, but it has to have a pun to the name.

 

 I prefer science, sci-fi, book, movie, or music themed food if possible. But it will be open to any and all food puns. You leave the food you’re bringing in Alex’s comments. Example: I’m bringing Square Pies (Pi) and Interstellar Cookies. They’re out of this world.

 

The Wayback Machine: Yep, just as in years past, we will use clever ways to travel from my blog to the host’s blog. And today we go in style. Mr. Peabody allowed me to borrow his Wayback Machine. He owes me. For what? Well, let's just keep that silent for now. But I have pictures. Thank you, Mr. Peabody.

But Don’t Worry:    It’s safe. On my first Blog Tour for Breakthrough we returned 79.8 percent of passengers back alive and in one piece. For Escalation, we did much better at an 87.1 percent clip. This time I’m sure we can surpass the 90 percent milestone. And who knows, maybe we’ll find some of the missing participants from years past along the way. You've probably wondered about those bloggers who mysteriously stopped coming by your Website.
