My concern this month, forgetting all about IWSG while I’m on break. D-oh! I mean, how easy is it to post once a month, the first Wednesday of said month? But it happened. Better late than never.
I have a cold and I hope this is the peak of it so I do have a it of an excuse for not posting in the morning. Well, that’s about it for me. Time for some over-the-counter drugs and lie down with my favorite blankie fresh and warm out of the dryer and binge watch Netflix.
Question Do you warm up your favorite blankie in the dryer when you're sick?
Feel better soon!
ReplyDeletePhew! After a week of just lying around I'm feeling much better!
DeleteGet better real soon!
ReplyDeleteFeel better! I do like to curl up and cuddle when I'm sick.
ReplyDeletePatricia, even the manliest welcomes a couch, TV remote, and warm blankie when under the weather.
DeleteSorry to hear you're down, Stephen... feel better!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon! I don't warm up my blanket; but when my son was in school and we lived in Montana, I would warm up his sweatshirts and get them out of the dryer right before we would leave to take him to school so he would have the warmth on a cold morning. Yes he was spoiled.

Betty, I do this for my kids. They can relax and get that much needed rest.
DeleteBeing sick is rough. If I have the chance to get my hands on a favourite blankie, I'll certainly take it under advisement that it will mean a round with the dryer.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon and that your over-the-counter drugs are working for you.
ReplyDeleteFive kids, years worth of sickies, and I never thought of warming the blankie in the dryer. D-oh!! Hope you feel better soon Steve.
ReplyDeleteNever too late to try the warm blankie method!
DeleteI hope you feel better soon, Stephen. And yes, I always heat up my blankets when I am sick... and my pjs before I crawl into bed. ~Lori~
ReplyDeleteIf I had a dryer, I completely would warm it up. But alas, I'd have to drive to laundry mat right now and that's highly inconvenient for a sick person! Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteAw, hope you feel better soon. Netflix is a great companion when feeling sick. Hug.
ReplyDeleteLynda, Netflix is one of my best friends!
DeleteAww, so sorry you're sick but I hope you're getting lots of rest in!
ReplyDeleteNo about the dryer, but I've heard fabulous things. Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteHi Stephen .. no I don't - I do go to bed and get warm, or just snuffle around feeling miserable ...?! good luck and I'm sure it'll be easing away .. cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon. Is that your dog in the picture? So cute!
ReplyDeleteTake care!
Julie, no I found the pic on Google Images because I was falling fast and needed to post. But our Malti-poo does snuggle with his toys when not feeling well.
DeleteOh, that really sucks about the cold. Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteLove the pic of the sad dog with his stuffed toy! I don't warm up anything, but I'm down with masses of over-the-counter drugs - the more the better! I hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteStephen I hope you're on the upswing by now!!! I love warm clothes from the dryer, but never thought of warming up my blanket when I'm sick. BUT, now I will!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better by now.
ReplyDeleteEverybody I talk to has a cold. I'm staying home alone with my warm blankie.
ReplyDeleteCheryl, that's mighty wise of you!
DeleteThankfully Stephen, I rarely/never get sick. But I'd be trying to stay cool in my pool...:-) Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding? I lay in bed reading when I'm sick. Move? Bah! Why would I do that?
ReplyDeleteBut seriously, I'm right there with you. My baby was sick when you posted and I spent 8 hours a day holding her. Then I spent 2.5 days laying in bed. Yay. 'Tis the season, eh? Get feeling better!
Stephen, I'm finally getting back INTO blogging. :) Hope you feel better soon! I also want to be sure you see this: http://jahangiri.us/2013/good-morning-sunshine/
ReplyDeleteI can't post it and tell you about it on Facebook, because: http://jahangiri.us/2013/observing-lent/
Of course I do. It's much safer than the oven. Yes, I tried. Roasted blankie has a pecular taste. I wouldn't recommend it. Hope you're feeling better soon. Mas val tarde que nunca. better late than never.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better. Yes. I warm up my blanket in the dryer when I'm freezing and need to be warmed up. Which I guess is pretty much all the time. ;-)
