Dark Humor That Turns Dark And More Fun Facts About Cats

Hi everyone, today we continue the second leg of Salem’s Daughters’ Blog Tour at Susan Swiderski’s I Think, Therefore I Yam. For a full itinerary of my blog tour, Click Here or simply select the self-named TAB at the top.

Salem’s Daughter’s A dark comedy that turns, well ... dark.

Did You Know Domestic cats stay home without much to do and rarely use their instincts to hunt, explore, play and interact. As a result, they get a little nutty.

Fun Fact While bored cats can exhibit destructive and antisocial behaviors, they might also demonstrate less obvious symptoms, including depression, excessive grooming, skin disorders, hypervocalization, house-training accidents, overeating and excessive sleeping. Reference

NOT Maria Gonzalez from Salem's Daughters
That could explain a lot from the thirteen cats at the bed and breakfast Murcat Manor. They’ve had four hundred years of down time working against them.

No Bueno.

Who Am I My name is Stephen Tremp and I write speculative fiction. My fourth novel, Salem’s Daughters, is supernatural thriller.

Short Blurb A four hundred year old evil is unleashed when souls of the daughters of those killed during the Salem Witch Trials find a new generation of people to murder at a popular modern-day bed and breakfast.

And as always, thanks for your support. Now off to Susan’s you go if you’ve not already been there.

  1. Hi Stephen - it's great to see you on the road .. and learn more about cats ... they do need space ... 400 years to hone their cat skills - could be serious for some critters or peeps ... Salem's Daughters sounds a great read .. cheers Hilary

  2. My cats are definitely a little nutty, and that's with regular time outdoors to try to keep them sane.

  3. I'll check out the tour stop. My dog acts like a cat sometimes! She gets all skittish and snobby!

  4. That was interesting about the domestic cats getting a little nutty. I guess their instincts would be to hunt and if they aren't out doing that, not much else to do. I know they say corgis need a job since they are herding animals; that's why a lot of people get their corgis into agility. We didn't assign Koda a job per se but he sure found one with watching at the window for hours to see if anything invaded his backyard.

  5. Thirteen bored cats could cause a lot of trouble.

  6. Thirteen cats who've been bored for 400 years? Um... *runs away* XD

  7. Our cats are plenty nutty, but at least they like to spend time playing, too. (Or who knows? Maybe they're just humoring me...)

  8. My grandma's cat is nutty. He likes to lie on his back, legs sprawled out. I've never seen a cat do that.
