Yes, We Really Do look Like This
My Cherished Objects: This is an easy one. My most cherished objects are my Three Diamonds: my wife and my two daughters. Without them, I would wander aimlessly and probably sit around all night watching ESPN and drinking a lot of beer and not accomplishing anything.

Instead, they are my inspiration to do something great, even on the micro level. I’m taking the summer off, but once Labor Day Weekend is officially over, I’ll be back to work as well as releasing new projects in the literary realm.

I’m expecting big, big, big things to break loose and we, as a family, will enjoy all the fruits of my labor. I am a magnetic landing strip of God's favor, mercy, and blessings!

Question: So what’s your cherished objects?

  1. Hello Stephen. This is a heart-warming entry to the Cherished blogfest. Missed this one! Loved reading that your family means so much to you. I wish you every good success in the literary world! Can't wait to hear of your exploits.

Pathetic, but other than my most cherished object, my family, it would have to be my Vaio laptop with touch screen, weighing next to nothing, for without it I would indeed be lost ATM anyhow!

  5. If I didn't have my husband and kids to drag me away from the books and laptop, I'd probably forget how to speak.

  7. Definitely family is a cherished object!! Seems like you have a wonderful one!! I think for me it would be the Word of God, the Bible; without it I don't think I would be good in any other aspects of my life.

  8. Sweet choice, but maybe you cheated a little bit choosing your family?! LOL I like the idea of this theme! Enjoy what 's left of summer! Fall will be here far too soon.

  10. Geez, after you gave that great answer about your wife and kids, I'd come across like an ungrateful witch if I don't likewise sing the praises of my husband, kids, and grandkids. All of whom I love dearly, although, technically, none of them are actually objects...

Did you still want me to read and review your manuscript? You asked, I said yes, and then I didn't hear from you again...

    Enjoy your blogging break!

  13. If we're including people then I would list my wife, kids, and grandkids as well. I'm not overly attached to stuff other than my computer and I can always get a new one of those when it comes down to that.

  14. You don't mean that watching midnight ESPN and drinking too much beer is a bad thing??? (Kidding.) Lovely post, Stephen. I'm sure your Three Diamonds feel the same about you :)

  15. My husband is my most cherished thing. Without him, I'd do some really stupid stuff.
