K is for Knowing (Intuitive Dreams)

Knowing or Intuitive Dreams You wake up from a dream and you can skip sorting through what the heck was that. You do not need any interpretation from anyone. You just know what it means without a shadow of doubt. No room for error. You can’t kid yourself even if you tried.

A dream like this, you know exactly what it means. Don’t try to BS me or yourself or someone else. This type of dream can be related to an epic dream (scroll down for E is for Epic Dream) or not, as epic dreams sometimes need some level of interpretation.

It's Okay. You Often Know and Don't Need an Interpreter
Knowing or Intuitive Dreams are generally directed for you and you only, although another person or event could be the focus of this dream. But yeah, if you have one, it’s probably specifically for you and you know exactly what it means. You don't need to tell anyone else if you don't want to.

Honorable Mention Karate, Key, and Kiss.

Tomorrow’s Post L is for Lucid Dreams (False Awakenings). Oh yeah, you’ll want to stop by for this one!

Question Have you had a Knowing or Intuitive Dream where you raise the white flag and say okay this is specific and I know exactly what it means?

  1. Hi Stephen, well this is interesting because I have occasionally had a dream which has seemed very clear in its message. I didn't know these sort of dreams has their own designation.

    1. Hopefully by the end of the Challenge we will be a little more open to our dreams and not dismiss them as crazy things our brains are doing without our permission while we sleep.

  8. Having come from a line of intuitive females I know...really KNOW...many things before they happen. Sometimes even know things I don't want to know.

  9. Yes, I have and I've even had problem-solving dreams. They are so mysterious to me.

  11. I've had dreams where I've been the director of that dream - guided it, so to speak. Great post, Stephen. Thanks for sharing. Looking foward to Lucid :)

  12. Oh good theme! Though I have to admit that I don't always want to acknowledge the right-ness of these dreams.

  13. Anytime I have a trip that requires a plane, I always dream that I've missed my flight. Just a worry I have.

    1. Deborah, that sounds like a nightmare. I've missed flights and it's not a good situation.

  15. I've had dreams where I've solved perplexing problems. Sometimes the answers come to me in dreams. When I have a burning question that I don't know the answer to, I often go to sleep with the intention of dreaming the answer. Sometimes it works!

  17. I've had a few of those, and always around death, real death, not the fake death means a change is coming lie. But I also do what Michele Truhlik does, I got to sleep with a question, and most times awaken with the answer, most always in a dream.
    I'm really enjoying your posts!

  23. I believe I do have intuitive dreams, and to answer yesterday's question: yes. I have turned dreams into short stories. I love it when my subconscious delivers a narrative dream.

    1. Tamara, this is why it's important to journal our dreams. Who knows, maybe there is a fictional story there.

  26. This is a timely post because for the past two nights I've been dreaming about something with the same theme. I know what it means, what my mind is trying to tell me and I hope that this issue will be resolved in a positive manner soon.

  28. I'm not sure I get it but it could be because it's late. I don't think I had a dream like this.....well, wait....I had a dream that I was at the home I grew up on. I saw all these people on the lawn and walking down a hill and I was telling them they were trespassing. Suddenly, my dad was standing beside me and hew as in the suit we buried him in. He patted my shoulder, and told me he was ok and to let it all go, that all was aok. I understood and walking up the ditch and then saw the strawberries and said, "ooooh strawberries!" I was thinking of my dad for so long since he died and this was his way of telling me to move on.
