A Special Thanks, Celebrate The Small Things, And The Weekend Follies

Thanks everyone for stopping by my blog the past couple weeks. It’s exciting to announce a book release and to receive so much support. And thanks to all who signed up for 2014 Wormfest and for helping with my upcoming Escalation Blog Tour!

And take a moment to stop by Sia McKye Over Coffee as she asks me a few questions at the Writer’s spotlight.

Celebrate The Small Things: I took a nice stroll along the beach on Monday. Just me and a cup of Starbucks coffee. I took off my shoes and got my feet wet. I felt all tension wash away with the receding waves. Small things like this are worth celebrating. Weekend Follies: This week we take a humorous look at religion. Enjoy:

  1. Some classic Far Sides there. Always need a few jerks.
Dare you to come to our coast today and stick your feet in the ocean!

  2. I always loved the snakes are a cinch one.

I was Blitzed on the day I announced Wormfest, so it probably garnered a few more participants.

  3. I'd choose 'damned if you don't' sounds like more fun! LOL

A walk on a warm beach sounds like heaven!

  4. Walking on the beach always calms me and lifts my spirits. I think it's the ocean air. I agree with Yolanda, pick the 'damned if you don't' door. Now we know why there are so many jerks and snakes in the world. . .

  5. Those walks on the beaches are amazing. The tide pools are fun to look at too. Never know what little sea critters you'll see.

  7. The cartoons are pretty funny! A walk on the beach sounds amazing. We're heading to Florida in a week and a half and I'm so ready for warmth and waves. But in the summer, a walk along the river or in the mountains is like that for me. Very quiet and restorative.

  8. First, I feel for those Zebras! Then you've got me worried about which door to choose. Thanks for the laugh and another sleepless night. :-)

  15. Hi Stephen .. those are great .. I like the A-Z ark entry! And yes I can understand you turning down Alex' offer ... ours isn't much better either - perhaps not as cold, but dangerous with the swell and large waves. Loved looking at these .. cheers Hilary
